The college’s Kinesiology doctoral program advanced to sixth best among 52 similar programs in the United States, according to the 2015 rankings by the National Academy of Kinesiology (NAK).
“It demonstrates that a world-class community of faculty working closely together increased productivity in all publications, presentations, grants and editorships,” said Professor Carl Maresh, a kinesiology faculty member and chair of the Department of Human Sciences, the program’s home.
“Perhaps most impressive were the 431 research manuscripts, the highest number among all programs, published over a five-year period by the 18 professors constituting our faculty cohort,” he said.
The NAK releases rankings every five years. In 2010, EHE Kinesiology ranked number 11.
