EHE introduces new sports coaching degree

On Campus

It’ll forever change the way you coach.

The new Master of Sports Coaching degree introduced in 2016 helps transform coaches’ leadership while challenging them to reach new heights in their careers.

Kinesiology faculty train experienced coaches in the professional skills needed for success. Students learn from Ohio State coaches and representatives from professional and amateur sports, including the U.S. Olympic Committee. They engage in real-world learning that can be applied to day-to-day coaching.

The program teaches students to have a keen understanding of coaching, make critical decisions and maintain high ethical standards while training athletes.

Students have the flexibility to take classes full time or part time. Learn more about the program’s requirements, frequently asked questions and application details.
